DIRECTIONS FOR USE - PermaSafe CLEAN - STEP 1
Do not mix with detergents or other chemicals.
Ensure the area to be treated is dry before application. Apply product to area ensuring complete coverage of surface. To ensure the product cures correctly. It is important to allow the product to completely dry before touching. We recommend keeping children and pets away from the treated area during this time. Once coating is completely dry, rinse the treated area with fresh water and dry.
Recommended reapplication after 30 or 90 days or if staining or odours return.
When used as a dairy maintenance compound, use with microbial monitoring.
TO CLEAN SURFACES: Spray soiled area, then wipe clean or, for spot cleaning, spray and wipe clean with damp sponge, mop or cloth. For hard to reach areas, apply electrostatic, compression sprayer, cold fogger or misting device.
TO SPOT CLEAN CARPET: Spray on soiled area until wet. Gently blot area with a clean, damp, colour safe cloth. Repeat as needed. Let air dry.
ALWAYS REFER TO MANUFACTURER’S CARE INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE USING EQUIPMENT OR DEVICES.
DEODORISATION: Product works by oxidation, not by masking of odours. Simply spray, fog, or wipe on full strength and let air dry to provide long lasting residual deodorising action. When fogging to deodourize, apply 250ml per 66m2 following fogger manufacturer’s directions for use. Product must come into contact with the cause of the odour to be effective. For pet urine stains in carpet, blot urine as dry as possible then saturate stain with product through carpet pad.
TO DEODORISE HVAC SYSTEM DUCTWORK: Spray product into system intake vents while system fan is running. Allow enough spray time for product to contact air duct system surfaces.
TO DEODORISE OR FRESHEN CARPET: Spray until slightly damp to eliminate odours. Product must come in contact with the cause of the odour to be effective.
TO DISINFECT HARD NON-POROUS SURFACES: For disinfecting pre-cleaned, hard non-porous surfaces such as glass, plastic, chrome & stainless steel. Types of items include: exterior of appliances, cabinet handles, wheelchairs, child car seats, cribs, doorknobs, tables, exterior toilet surfaces, faucet handles, handrails, keyboards. Apply product full strength to pre-cleaned hard non-porous surfaces, wetting thoroughly with spray. Allow surfaces to remain wet for 5 minutes for virus inactivation – 10 minutes for bacteria disinfection.
TO SANITISE CARPET: For synthetic carpet fibres such as nylon, olefin, or polypropylene. Not intended for use on wool carpets. Test for colour fastness in an inconspicuous area. Carpet should be clean or free of excessive soil before applying. Product must come into contact with contaminant to work. Allow to dwell for 10 minutes. Do not rinse, use an extraction wand and dry stroke carpet to remove excess moisture. Carpet can air dry or fans may be used if carpet needs to dry faster.
FOR FOGGING APPLICATION: Product can be applied to organic or inorganic substrates by fogging. All surfaces must be cleaned prior to fogging. Fogging is supplemental to normal cleaning practices. Fogging can be used in homes, offices, automobiles and institutions, e.g. schools, hospitals, daycare centres, churches, correctional facilities.
Prior to fogging, remove and carefully protect all food products and packaging materials.
Fog areas using 3.785l per 1200m2 of room area
Allow surfaces to drain thoroughly and air dry before operations are resumed.
Dry substrates at temperatures from ambient to a maximum of 160C (320F) to effect complete condensation of silanol groups and to remove water, solvents and/or traces of methanol from hydrolysis. Optimum application and drying conditions, such as time and temperature, should be determined for each application before use.
Commercial and industrial users: Do not discharge effluent containing this product into lakes, streams, ponds, estuaries, oceans, or other waters. Do not discharge effluent containing this product to sewer systems without previously notifying the local sewage treatment plant authority.
De-activation may be required during clean up if a spill occurs. De-activation can be achieved by the addition of anionic surfactant (such as soap, sulfonates, sulfates) in quantity equivalent to that of the product.
